For the Lone Worker feature, see Lone Worker. This page relates to the Lone Worker settings in the General Settings set in a radio codeplug/configuration.

General Settings

The Lone Worker section of the General Settings set contains the following fields:

  • Response Timer defines the amount of time the user has to respond to a lone worker alert.
  • Reminder Timer sets the mount of time between each lone worker alert.
  • Smart PTT Periodic Time. Specifies the time interval that telegrams will be sent when the PTT Keyup Mode feature is set to Smart PTT. This is applicable to 5-tone channels only and has nothing to do with Lone Worker.
  • Carrier Gone Timer. Specifies the duration that the radio is not allowed to transmit after carrier disappears. This is applicable to 5-tone channels only and has nothing to do with Lone Worker. It works in conjunction with the TX Admit Criteria in the 5-tone Personality set.[1]
