Persistent LRRP Requests

Save and Delete Persistent LRRP Requests are two CPS/RM settings that define how a GNSS equipped radio will process location requests. MOTOTRBO radios support the LRRP protocol for GNSS and indoor location tracking. The radio will send periodic location updates based on what is requested by the location tracking application.

When Save is ticked (enabled), all persistent LRRP requests are kept in the radio's memory.

When Delete is ticked (enabled), all persistent LRRP requests are cleared from the radio's memory, and the radio will only transmit location updates upon receiving the next persistent LRRP request. Otherwise, all the saved LRRP requests in the radio are preserved. It is only possible to set Delete once Save has been enabled.

These two settings can be found under General Settings of the radio codeplug or configuration.[1]
